Showcase Your Organization

Non-Profit organizations are a vital part of the Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion. The programs can offer renewed strength and hope to many individuals and families. We are committed to raising the awareness of the organizations in the community.

The 2010 Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Celebration was again an overwhelming success; our thanks to you for your participation and support. We hope that you will join us this year on August 19 - 21, 2011 for our 23rd BFRC.

A non-profit application is enclosed for your convenience. All organizations will be permitted to distribute all of their business materials. However, we do ask that you list all items and materials to be distributed on your application for approval. The sale of items will require a vendor’s application instead of a non-profit application. Water and drinks are not permitted for sale or distribution (these items are sold by BFRC to help defray the cost of putting on this free public event). Also, the Cincinnati Recreation Commission is continuing with its policy of “no self-adhesive stickers” on the venue grounds.

We are offering tents (10 x 10) that will be located throughout the park.

$ 300.00           Non-Profit
$ 500.00            Non-Profit, Government

Due to the large demand for individual tents, we are requesting a quick response by our deadline of July 15, 2011. Should you decide to share an individual tent with another non-profit organization and split the cost, both organizations will be required to complete an individual application. Please include the purchase order # on the application if your organization operates on that system.

Non-Profit organizations are a vital part of the Midwest Regional Black Family reunion Celebration. Your participation can offer renewed strength and help for an enormous number of community individuals and families. We are committed to raising the awareness of such organizations in the community.

Since tent occupancy will be required for both Saturday and Sunday, all organizations are expected to participate both days. If you cannot staff an individual tent both days, we are requesting that you do not submit an application for an individual tent.
