Non-Profit organizations are a vital part of the Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion. The programs can offer renewed strength and hope to many individuals and families. We are committed to raising the awareness of the organizations in the community.

The 2007 Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Celebration was an overwhelming success; our thanks to you for your participation.  We are now planning for the 2008 Midwest Black Family Reunion Celebration.  The 20th BFRC will be held August 14-17, 2008.  Please mark your calendar!

The Black Family Reunion Celebration is a two day event (for booth space).  All organizations are expected to participate both days.  If you cannot staff an individual tent both days, please do not submit an application for an individual tent. Once again, all organizations will be permitted to sell merchandise that is normally sold or distributed by your organization.  You must list all items to sell on your application for approval; items i.e. water and drinks are not permitted for sell or distribution (these items are sold by the BFRC to help defray cost of putting on this free public event).  Also, the Cincinnati Recreation Commission is continuing with its policy of “no stickers”.

We are offering tents (10 x 10) that will be located throughout the park.  However, there will be a limited number of tents. The cost for individual tent:

  $ 300.00            Non-Profit

  $ 500.00            Non-Profit, Government

Due to the large demand for individual tents, we are requesting a quick response by our deadline, of July 15, 2008.  Also, you may share an individual tent with another non-profit organization and split the cost.  Please include the purchase order # on the application if your organization operates on that system.
